Hand2Trunk grew from personal connections with the communities in which we work. Our local partners are hosts, educators and experts: guides, teachers, mahouts, conservationists, craftspeople and farmers who share their own knowledge and stories.
Students take part in shared experiences, ask questions and discover how culture, livelihoods and conservation connect in everyday life.

Connect coffee growing, local cooking, crafts, temples and cultural traditions with the people whose knowledge brings them to life.
Activities vary with the itinerary, season and local availability. Community projects are planned with local partners.

Hand2Trunk is founded and led by Tidarat Jitsook, known as P’Ann. Her work connects educational groups with local hosts and the relationships that make each journey possible.
Among our partners is P’Dee, a mahout and local village guide who has twice spoken at the National University of Singapore about elephants and conservation in his community.

Share the age group, curriculum connections and experiences you have in mind, from culture and conservation to community action.
02 / Your itinerary
Make room for discovery.
Trips typically run for 3–7 nights. Groups of 12–20 are common, with around 16 ideal. Larger groups need itinerary-specific planning.
03 / Your school’s requirements
Discuss the practical details.
Bring your questions about supervision, transport, accommodation, dietary needs, medical access and the documentation your school requires.
Can the trip connect to our curriculum?
Yes. Tell us your learning priorities so we can explore relevant community, culture and conservation experiences. The itinerary is tailored through discussion.
What about safety and school approval?
Discuss safeguarding, activity risk assessments, insurance, emergency arrangements and supervision with Hand2Trunk before confirming a trip. Your school should review the arrangements and supporting documents for its specific itinerary.
Can we include a homestay or community project?
These can be explored as part of itinerary planning, subject to local capacity and availability. Projects should respond to priorities agreed with community partners.
